1773. Boston.Three British ships are floating in the nearby harbor, waiting to unload their cargo of tea. And the American colonists won't have it. As the standoff continues, the Sons of Liberty spread word: a meeting to determine how the political protest should end if the tea ships refuse to return to England. A protest? Over tea?!?!? To rebuild the British treasury, King George has levied a tax on everything in the colonies, from silver to glass to paper to tea. After enduring years of unfair taxation (without representation!) the colonists' proverbial teapot of anger is boiling over...and they are taking action in revolt. While British spies and war ships move to thwart the colonists' plans, the children of famous U.S. patriots find that they have an important role to play. It is the daughters and sons of the Sons of Liberty who become the unsung heroes, discovering the importance of friendship and freedom as they lead the rise to the revolution! * * *
